With two decades of experience living, working, studying and traveling throughout Spain, we have discovered exactly where to go to see
today's living Flamenco culture in its authentic setting, and we provide the customized services of bilingual guides as cultural liasons. We also provide tour organization, including accommodation and travel reservations and coordination of daily cultural events and activities.
Eric immigrated to Spain from Germany when he was five years old. During his first twenty years he managed
various businesses, a health club in Granada, a Mango farm which he still co-owns, and studied Flamenco
dancing and culture. He then moved to the United States where he has lived in the Midwest, California and now
resides in Miami Beach, Florida. His two decades each in Spain and the United Staes have given him
integrated understanding and knowledge of both cultures, their differences and similarities.
Eric maintains strong ties to Spain through his extensive family and friends who live in South Spain, immersed
in the flamenco world. His love of Spain and Flamenco show in his knowledge of the small, authentic hidden
treasures of Flamenco in Spain which he wants to share with you.
Maika is an artist herself. Born in Madrid, she began her dancing career at age 9, majoring in Spanish Dance
from the Real ConservatorioProfesional de Danza. Maika continued her education in Amor de Dios and Karen
Taft where she specialized in flamenco with famous figures like Antonio Canales, Cristina Hoyos. She also has
a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
She has won several competitions in Spanish Dancing, organized by official entities. She formed and participated
in performances throughout Spain performing Spanish classical dance and flamenco, like: "Castilla", "Cordoba",
"Asturias", Ravel's Bolero", "Farruca", "Sacromonte", "El Vito", "Dona Francisquita", works by Albeniz, Campuzano,
jotas, alegrías, bulerías, soleás, tanguillos, fandangos, seguiriyas, sevillanas and more.
Maika focuses her career in dance education. Her teaching is characterized by bringing out the art that each student brings in, on the basis of a careful
and elegant technique. On her free time, Maika enjoys writing and traveling. She is our correspondent in Spain where she writes about what she loves
most: Spain,Flamenco, Art, Dance, Flamenco Tours, and history. Enjoy Maika’s regular articles in our Flamenco Perspectives Section about flamenco and
